Keep it fax @ Change Makers 2026
We recently had the wonderful opportunity to speak at the Global Cymru Change makers conference, where I was invited to share my story with students from Roath Park Primary School and Croes y Ceiliog School. My presentation focused on “Why I Decided to Become a Changemaker.”
It’s always a special experience to talk about what inspired me to get involved in making a difference and to encourage young people to think about the positive impact they can have in their own communities.
Alongside the presentation, we also ran an interactive stall with activities for the children to take part in. It was lovely chatting with them, answering their questions, and sharing more about the work we do in a fun and engaging way.
I have to admit, although I absolutely love working with children, I also find them to be the most intimidating audience! They’re wonderfully honest, naturally curious, and definitely keep you on your toes.
A huge thank you to Global Cymru for the invitation and for bringing together so many people who are passionate about inspiring the next generation. It’s moments like these that remind me why being a changemaker is so worthwhile, and I hope some of the children left believing that they, too, can make a difference.
